I have not been on the internets in a while. Instead, I have been here:
I went away this weekend with my girlfriends from high school. And I mean AWAY. Didn't touch the internet (except to Google someone's senior prom date, of course). Barely had cell phone service. Wore the same jeans and sweatshirt for three days running. And swam in this lake every day.
Who needs a spa vacation? Gimme freezing lake water and deep belly laughs with people who've known me for 23 years.

Wearing the same jeans and tee shirt for three days in a row is MY kind of holiday! And you are right: being with people who have known you well and long is so comforting and relaxing -- and fun.
