I ran to Canada and back and even did it five minutes faster than I thought I would.
And now, I must face all the things I put off in order to train. And the sludge coming out of my son's nose. And the poison ivy spreading in my back yard. And the fact that putting a bucket under the pipe is probably only a temporary solution to a disposal that leaks.
And my book! Oh, my book is calling me! "Jacqui!" it says. "Come write me!"
And I say, "Book! I love you. I'm coming. Slowly. Very slowly. And please, book, don't make me walk down stairs."

congratulations, miss jello legs!
Congratulations! I am always a little daunted by how things deteriorate when I am training as opposed to maintaining, but I miss the zen of the run more than I miss clean bathrooms.
